November 29, 1940 - March 10, 2011
Wilmington Island - Patricia Sanders McGinty, 70, died March 10, 2011 at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was a lifelong resident of Wilmington Island.
Mrs. McGinty was born in Savannah, GA on November 29, 1940, the daughter of the late Guy Edward Sanders and Juanita Sullivan Sanders.
She is survived by her children; Holly and Glenn Price; Trae and Amy Rogers; grandchildren, Anna Price, Hunter Price, Cameron Rogers, Mackenzie Rogers; sister, Gail Exley and husband Gilbert and mother, Juanita Sanders.
Visitation will be held on Sunday March 13th at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church on Monday March 14th at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
